CSU attended the 2nd Bangsamoro Scientific Conference and the 5th BARMM Health Research Forum held on November 16, 2025, at the Blue Lotus Hotel in Davao City. Dr. Tarhata S. Guiamalon, Director of the Office of Research Programs (ORP), represented CSU.
In this event, organized by the Bangsamoro Health Research and Development Consortium (BHRDC), researchers, professionals, and students came together to advance the scientific and technological landscape of the region. This year's conference theme, "Connected Research, Shared Future: Advancing Food, Technology, and Health for a Resilient Bangsamoro," highlighted the importance of science-driven development and evidence-based policymaking in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). A number of health-related research studies were presented at the conference with the aim of strengthening the region's research and innovation capabilities. Studies on the Agriculture, Aquatic & Natural Resources (AANR) and the Industry, Energy & Emerging Technology (IEET) tracks were presented during the forum in order to harmonize the Bangsamoro agenda for research and development.
