Cotabato State University Participates in MinSuPala-IRDC Forum Held in General Santos City

Delegates from Cotabato State University, led by University President Prof. Sema G. Dilna, actively participated in the 1st Mindanao Forum on Waters and Natural Resources held at Greenleaf Hotel, General Santos City, on November 26–28, 2025.

This engagement underscores the University’s strong commitment to advancing research-driven initiatives and promoting sustainable development across Central Mindanao. By collaborating with researchers, policymakers, and partner institutions, CotSU continues to strengthen evidence-based strategies for the responsible management of Mindanao’s vital water and natural resources.

The University also extends its warmest congratulations to the CotSU-MinSuPala-IRDC team for securing 2nd Place in the Oral Presentation Category, presented by Bahrul Ullom S. Kapal. He presented the study titled "At the Margins: Livelihood Assets and Vulnerabilities of Riverside Households" as one of the outputs of the phase 1 of the MinSuPala-IRDC research project.

The forum, organized by the Mindanao Sulu Palawan – Innovative Research and Development Consortium (MinSuPala-IRDC), brought together academic leaders and experts to reinforce collaborative research efforts across the MinSuPala region.
